Wood fired hand-built trinket dish with stamped decoration. Perfect for a small dish of any kind, can be used for food such as dips or sauces, spices etc. or as a general jewelry dish, catchall, or ash tray.

Fired in an anagama kiln! This kiln is an ancient style wood fired kiln dating back to the 5th century! These kilns are built like a cave into the earth along a hillside to create a natural single chamber tunnel for the flames to move throughout. The firing process requires 5 full days of round the clock stoking with a team of 10 artists. Ceramics fired in an anagama kiln are known for distinct natural wood-ash glazes, dramatic flame marks, and unpredictable earthy textures ~ true one of a kinds!

For the longevity of the piece it is recommended to hand wash with care.
