Valentine’s Day Private Couple's Wheel Throwing Workshop

*Price listed is for TWO students who will each have their own wheel to work on simultaneously.*

Experience quality time with a significant other and unlock your creativity by taking a private wheel throwing workshop! In this unique and inspiring class, you'll be guided on a fun journey into the world of wheel throwing. With hands-on instruction, you and your partner will learn how to craft beautiful ceramics together. Exciting, memorable, and therapeutic - this is surely an experience you'll never forget!

Whether you'd like to hone your throwing skills or start from scratch as a beginner- this private couples class is suitable for all levels. Each student will receive one on one instruction and guidance from Peyton, owner & maker of Cloud 9 Clay. 

This 2 hour workshop will begin with a brief wheel throwing demonstration & tutorial by Peyton, followed by remaining time for couples to work on their projects. 

Pre-wedged clay will be provided, and pre-centered clay is available upon request (but we encourage you to give it a go!) Each student will have roughly 5 pounds of clay to work with, and can fire up to 2 of their pieces from the session.

After the workshop, Peyton will trim, fire, & glaze your creations to achieve a finished piece. Students will be given a selection of glazes to choose from (each piece is limited to one solid glaze color). 

Finished work will be available for pick up approximately 2-3 weeks after the workshop date. Shipping final work is available for an additional fee which will be calculated based on the shipments weight & destination.
